Tahoe Baikal Institute

This is the complete renovation of Fred's Cabin, a historical house on Fallen Leaf Lake near South Lake Tahoe. Included are the 2,500 SF main house and the 940 SF bath house. A consortium of non-profits including the California Tahoe Conservancy, the Tahoe Heritage Foundation and the Tahoe Baikal Foundation in concert with the US Forest Service are sponsoring the renovation. The house is used mainly during the summer for high mountain lake research.
