Matt Gilroy

Matthew Gilroy is a Bay Area native and is a graduate of the California College of the Arts Bachelor of Architecture program. CCA sparked an interest in many areas of design including industrial design and glass blowing. He worked at a few firms in the East Bay before finding his way to Burks Toma Architects. He is a registered architect in the state of California.

Matt fancies himself an amateur furniture maker and has several projects under way at any given time. Most projects challenge his toolbox and skill set, but keep his idle hands out of trouble. It is not uncommon to find Matt, his wife and 3-girls on a road trip to some random destination on the weekend. Much like his furniture making there is usually as much in the journey as the destination.
